Meet the WCC Trustees!

Brianna McDonald, WCC president

While you are out and about, doing errands and getting coffee on Saturday morning, March 28, stop by one of the Wedgwood Community Council tables to say hello!

Wedgwood Community Council officers (called trustees) will be at the info table, ready to hear your questions and concerns about neighborhood needs.

The info table will be at two successive locations on Saturday morning:  from 9 to 10 AM at Van Gogh Coffeehouse in the shopping complex between the Wedgwood Broiler and Homestreet Bank; then from 10:30 to 11:30 at Javasti, 8617 35th Ave NE, one block north of Wells Fargo Bank.

Per Johnson, WCC trustee, has expertise in land use and environmental issues.

What is the Wedgwood Community Council?  The Wedgwood Community Council (WCC) is a not-for-profit neighborhood advocacy group that represents the concerns of Wedgwoodians. The WCC is comprised of volunteer trustees who are residents of Wedgwood.  They give their time and expertise for the betterment of the community. WCC offers a forum for Wedgwood residents to air opinions, ideas, grievances, and announcements of community interest.  In addition, WCC works towards goals identified as priorities by the community and spearheads events that benefit the community, such as Wedgwood Outdoor Cinema and Wedgwood Business Trick-or-Treat.
