Saturday night, July 25 at 7:30 PM is the night of Wedgwood’s annual Outdoor Cinema. It will be at The Gathering Place at Hunter Tree Farm, 7740 35th Ave NE, next to the post office. The evening will begin with food vendors, community-info displays and games for children.
Things to bring on Saturday evening: bring the whole family except for dogs; bring lawn chairs and blankets for the cooler evening weather, and bring some money for food vendors and a donation to support the costs of the Outdoor Cinema which is brought to you by the volunteers of the Wedgwood Community Council.
Food offerings will include the Goreeng food truck, Kettlecorn and Javasti. There will be displays and info from Homestreet Bank, QFC Grocery and Rainwise. Games for children will be led by volunteers from OneLife Church. Engine 40 of the Wedgwood Fire Station will be there to join in with the fun and games.
There will be a special presentation of a contest – you won’t want to miss it! There will also be a Wedgwood Community Council info table where you can learn more about community activities and you can make a donation to support the work.
The movie, How to Train Your Dragon 2, will be shown as soon as it gets dark enough, depending upon weather conditions.
