On Tuesday evening, May 3rd, everyone is invited to a brainstorming session about getting food trucks in Wedgwood.

Tony Frego, president of the Wedgwood Community Council, whacked weeds for Spring Clean at the Picnic Place on April 23.
A Food Truck Rodeo Brainstorming session will be conducted by Wedgwood Community Council volunteers to put together a community event. We will meet at the Picnic Place, Wedgwood’s future park, on 35th Ave NE at the corner of NE 86th Street at 7:15 PM on Tuesday, May 3rd.
Everyone is encouraged to come to the brainstorming session, whether you have ideas to contribute or you just want to meet other Wedgwood activists. The brainstorming will be led by Tony, Wedgwood Community Council president and other officers of the WCC (called trustees.)
In addition to a community activity with food trucks which could be scheduled for September, the WCC wants to reach out to the community for ideas on how to get a food truck for the Picnic Place site as soon as possible. The Picnic Place at Wedgwood’s future park is owned by Seattle Parks Department and food trucks must apply with them for use of the site.
