Go on a family-friendly bird walk on Tuesday morning, June 7th with bird guides from Seattle Audubon Society.
The Seattle Audubon Society office in Wedgwood offers free Neighborhood Bird Walks around northeast Seattle. Join Wedgwood resident and bird photographer Joe Sweeney on Tuesday, June 7, from 8 to 10 AM for exploration of the Union Bay Natural Area accessed from the Center for Urban Horticulture parking lot, 3501 NE 41st Street.
The bird walk will go ahead, rain or shine, and no advance sign-up is needed. Beginning birders or visitors to Seattle will especially enjoy this introduction to the rich bird life along the water.
You are encouraged to bring binoculars and if you don’t have any, you can borrow some from Seattle Audubon Society. Call at least one week ahead of time, phone 206-523-4483.
