A new sidewalk will be built on the south side of NE 95th Street between 32nd to 35th Avenues NE.
It has been a long time (2014) since the Wedgwood Community Council initiated action for needed improvements on NE 95th Street. Finally now with passage of the Move Seattle levy, money has been allocated to go ahead on this project.
Along with the sidewalk there will be drainage improvements on the south side of NE 95th Street between 32nd to 35th Avenues NE. Trees will be planted between the new sidewalk and the curb. The purpose of the new sidewalk is to increase safety for pedestrians, access to and from the business district and safe routes to schools. Construction will begin toward the end of 2016 with updates given on the project page.
