Meetings and Security Checks with the Seattle Police Crime Prevention Coordinator

The Seattle Police Department has a Crime Prevention Coordinator who will come to homes for security checks and meetings with neighbors about their crime concerns.

Mary Amberg, Crime Prevention Coordinator, has this message for Wedgwood neighbors:

I wanted to inform you of the free security assessments that I provide to local residents and businesses. My assessments are based on crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED), target hardening, and utilizing quantitative information. I provide tips about camera placement and can answer questions about alarms.

I am also available to help set up Block Watch meetings for you and your neighbors. If you are interested, please email me at mary.amberg@seattle.gov and we can schedule a time.
