Our friend, community activist and the Park Steward of Thornton Creek — Dass Adams has moved to Berkeley, California. But…right now he’s back in Seattle, so we’re having a last minute PARTY Monday, May 1st, 6-9pm @ The Growler Guys. Growler Guys will be providing a few free pizzas, plus $1 off any beer, wine, or cider ordered (and one lighter beer will be just $2 per pint until the keg blows, if you say “Wedgwood Rocks”).
Personally, I’ve worked with Dass for 10 years on/in Licorice Fern Natural Area, on Thornton Creek. He’s been a lot of fun to work with and certainly put up with a lot of my b/s 🙂 I’ll bring a few LFNA show-and-tell items and a story or two. Come enjoy the company of some good folks, listen to some great music and enjoy some fine, craft beverages.
This is an Open Invitation to all good folk, Wedgwoodians, neighbors & fellow Creek Freaks, so feel free to forward it. No RSVP. Just show-up, say hello and have a little fun on a Monday. Dog & Family Friendly. Heaters/blankets if you want to sit outdoors.
