NE 65th St. Vision Zero Project Wants Your Feedback

The Vision Zero Project has a mission: end traffic deaths and serious injuries along the NE 65th St. corridor by 2030. To that end, Vision Zero has conducted two community forums since February of this year to identify challenges and potential solutions to make the sometimes treacherous thoroughfare safer. Some short-term safety improvements were implemented this year, and long-term design changes that take into account the opening of the Roosevelt Link station (on the horizon in 2021), and the increased challenges of moving transit, bikers, walkers, and drivers along the busy arterial are due to be completed in January 2018.

If you would like to meet the project staff, review the changes already implemented and those on deck, ask questions, or submit your feedback, the Vision Zero team will be available to drop-in visitors at Broadcast Coffee (6515 Roosevelt Way NE) on Tuesday, December 12, 5-7 p.m. and Thursday, December 14, 7-9 a.m. Visit the project website for more information:
