This past Sunday saw rallies for and against the 35th Ave NE Paving Project.
The “Safe 35th Avenue NE” group, which supports SDOT’s design for the street, hosted a walk/bike/drive down 35th Ave NE to show Wedgwood businesses that their customers are excited about safe ways to get there. At the same time, the “Save 35th Ave NE Seattle” group, which wants the city to stop, listen, and change the design for the 35th Avenue NE paving project, assembled in front of the Seattle Public Library’s Northeast Branch to publicize their cause. Our members on the scene captured the following photos and videos.
