Wedgwood’s Community Emergency Hub is Seeking New Hub Captains. Get Involved!

After taking a couple years off during the pandemic, Wedgwood is literally and figuritive dusting off our Emergency Hub at the Hunter Farm site. We are reactivating our Emergency Hub and are seeking volunteers interested in becoming a Community Emergency Hub captain!

What is a Community Emergency Hub captain, you ask?  And what are Community Emergency Hubs?  Great questions!  It just so happens that the Seattle Office of Emergency Management is hosting a virtual Hub 101 information meeting on March 17th, at 7PM.  If you’re curious about Wedgwood’s Emergency Hub at Hunter Farm and are interested in helping your community become more prepared for an emergecy, then consider registering for the upcoming meeting here (REGISTER HERE).

If, after attending this virtual meeting, you want to become a Community Emergency Hub captain, please reach out to us via info@wedgwoodcc.org.
