Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel our summer picnic this year. We’re disappointed but we’re hopeful we’ll be back next year with a great community event!
We are excited to announce the return of the Wedgwood Community Picnic! Since 2016, the picnic has
become a family-friendly event for neighbors to get together and celebrate local music, food and fun for an afternoon. Our mission is to build community by bringing neighbors, businesses, community leaders and non profits from Wedgwood and NE Seattle together.
We need your help. Our fundraising goal for this year’s picnic is $6,000. As a sponsor your contribution helps our volunteer team fund the infrastructure, permits, equipment and other material to put on this great community event.
This is a great way to connect. Picnic sponsorship is a great opportunity to increase brand recognition for your business or simply to show your community support! Sponsorship is also a great way to help raise awareness for our local nonprofits, local clubs, environmental groups or services within the city.
For more details see the sponsorship packet here.
We have created a registration form you can fill out on line here.
Thank you for your support!
The Wedgwood area is home to more than three synagogues and a significant number of Jewish residents. In the spirit of inclusion, I wish that the community event was not being held on a sacred Jewish holiday.
You’re 100% right, Judy. We have canceled our 2023 Summer Picnic for other reasons this year, but we have made a note to avoid this mistake in the future. Happy Rosh Hashana to all of our Jewish neighbors!
