“Rumble Ready” Hub Drill – Sunday, June 9th, 1-3PM at Hunter Tree Farm

Join your neighbors on Sunday, June 9th, for an Emergency Hub drill in coordination with Hubs across the city.  We will set up at the Hunter Tree Farm lot, home of the Wedgwood Emergeny Hub, and practice our community’s response to a large disruptive event.  We’re calling this event “Rumble Ready,” but everything we learn would apply to a long-term power outage or other event, as well as an earthquake. We will be showcasing our Hub to the neighborhood, and we need YOU to train with us!

How you can help on June 9:
Volunteer for one of the roles needed to activate the Hub (greeter, message taker, radio assistant, etc.). If you attended a Hub 101 training or previous drills, we need you! But no experience needed; all willingness to learn is valuable and appreciated. Sign up to volunteer here: https://signup.com/go/zDObYew

Stop by anytime between 1-3pm to learn how the Hub operates and be an “actor” by reading a short problem for us to solve and following it through the Hub to see how we might help.

You will leave feeling more connected to neighbors and better prepared for whatever the future brings. Invite your neighbors and come join in!
