Our friends at the Wedgwood 8 Limbs Yoga studio invite you to discover the benefits of yoga AND support the Hunter Farm Gathering Place project at the same time! On October 13th, from 9:30-10:45AM, 8 Limbs Yoga will be holding an all level benefit yoga class. 8 Limbs Yoga opened its Wedgwood studio in 1999. They’re celebrating 15 years of business this year with their first studio in Capitol Hill. The Parks Committee has moved forward with its application for a Neighborhood Matching Fund grant, and the process to acquire the property has been met with some delay. While the site has undergone the environmental testing and analysis for the substances commonly used by Seattle City Light at substation sites, it has not yet undergone the testing required for land previously occupied by gas stations. As we await the outcome of the grant application and the results of the additional environmental testing on the Morningside site, we are delighted to move forward with the Hunter Farms Gathering Place Project to Read More …

Results of the Wedgwood Community Survey conducted by the Wedgwood Vision Project are now available online. Thanks to the nearly 800 community members who completed it! Results include responses to open-ended questions, i.e., the typed responses. (The respondents remain anonymous even to the survey creators.
