Budget Town Hall with Council Member Pacheco and Mayor Durkan

The event will be held in the auditorium space of University Heights Center (5031 University Way, Seattle, WA 98105) on Saturday, September 7th. Doors will open at 11:30 am, with the panel discussion and Q+A running from 12:00 – 1:00. It will be a great opportunity for community members to learn more about the city budget, to hear from CM Pacheco and the Mayor about their priorities, and to share what you want to see in the budget with them. Join the Cascade Bicycle Club for a District 4 City Council candidate forum focusing on making Seattle a more affordable and sustainable community. We will be hearing from candidates for City Council in District 4 as they answer questions about housing, mass transit, ensuring everyone is able to use our streets safely and achieving Vision Zero, reducing carbon emissions, and centering racial equity in all of this work. Final schedule announced for Your Voice, Your Choice project development meetings

In Project Development, community members take the ideas submitted during the Idea Collection phase and prioritize them to 8-10 ideas per Council District. There will be opportunities to participate in Project Development meetings in each Council District. Participants will be responsible for evaluating the project ideas that are submitted and give each project numerical ratings. Magnuson Community Center Improvements

Seattle Parks and Recreation invites you to come learn about and comment on the coming improvements to the Magnuson Community Center. This project will build out the south wing of the community center to allow greater programming capacity. Seattle Parks and Recreation staff and the design team from Buffalo Design will be present to talk about the designs and answer questions.
