A Beautiful Day for a Safeway Ribbon Cutting
On Friday, the Wedgwood Safeway threw a preview party with music from Roosevelt High School and Eckstein Middle School to begin their Grand Re-Opening festivities. Saturday morning, these festivities continued with a brief message from new store manager, Steve Smith, a formal ribbon cutting ceremony, and free “Wedgwood Safeway” reusable grocery bags. A representative from Children’s Hospital also took part to thank Safeway for their employee’s charitable donations. The store remodel was a complete overhaul of the store’s interior.
