Seattle Department of Neighborhoods is now accepting applications for the Fall Quarter of the People’s Academy for Community Engagement (PACE). PACE is a civic leadership development program dedicated to teaching hands-on skills to the next wave of community leaders. The Fall Quarter begins October 7 and runs through November 4.
The Wedgwood Community Council trustees (officers) will meet for their monthly planning session on Tuesday, November 22nd, Anyone who wants to hear about what’s going on in the neighborhood and upcoming plans, is invited to attend. The meeting will be held at 3524 NE 95th Street in the OneLife Church building. There will be coffee and introductions at 7 PM with the planning session beginning at 7:30 PM. Come and share your ideas with the City of Seattle while eating ice cream in Ballard on Saturday, August 27th, from 1 to 3 PM. At the same time, a festival will be going on in the mini-park by the Ballard Branch Library, all day from 11 to 4.
