Special format for the March 23, 7 p.m. WCC general meeting at Wedgwood Presbyterian Church (35th Ave NE & NE 80th St)—an open house to learn about summer fun for the whole family! Reps from Meadowbrook Community Center, Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center, North Seattle Community College, and other local organizations will be on hand to answer your questions about summer activities for kids, adults and families alike. You’ll even be able to sign up for camps and outings on the spot. So bring your kids and questions. We look forward to seeing you then! Refreshments provided.
The Green Lake Blog has a good post about last week’s community meeting on the future of the community centers. Apparently, the City Council has requested comments from the public in response to several questions. Given the role the Meadowbrook, Laurelhurst, and Ravenna-Eckstein Community Centers play in our community, I thought I’d pass it on.
