Construction is moving slower than anticipated on the NE 95th St Sidewalk Project, due in part to a few weather delays. The latest project update from the Seattle Department of Transportation notes that work should wrap up in late March or early April, while an on-site project sign says that work will be complete in May.
With sidewalks under construction on two streets in Wedgwood, plan ahead to avoid the work zones on NE 95th Street and on NE 83rd Street near Wedgwood School.
Wedgwood has two sidewalk construction projects in process: one on NE 95th Street and another on NE 83rd Street near Wedgwood School. Initial preparation work this week includes utility work, including relocation of the water meters of each house along the route.
A new sidewalk will be built on the south side of NE 95th Street between 32nd to 35th Avenues NE.
