On Thursday, October 31 from 4 to 6 PM Wedgwood will again be visited by costumed characters for the annual business-district Halloween trick-or-treat.  Look for the orange flyer in the window of participating businesses and be sure to thank them for their community spirit.  Watch for the Wedgwood Community Council volunteers who will serve as crossing guards at the intersections of both NE 75th Street and NE 85th Street.  There will be heavy traffic during those hours so parents are encouraged to model good safety behavior with their children and teach them to look and listen before crossing the streets.
